Capture NX-2-Camera Settings are not displaying for NEF files

I have just recently started using this software and for some reason I cannot get the "camera settings" to populate as one of the options under the develop section even though I'm I editing a NEF file. If anyone can help with this problem I would appreciate it as the NIkon help desk can't seem to figure it out either.
