Do low element lenses have more "depth" than high element lenses?

    LOL I just wanted to get the best possible result with the least possible work
    .. as in no post processing ... and just posting the OOC jpg :-) since there are going to be tons of images.

    Capture NX-D is your friend here, it can apply the exact same settings to a large batch of NEFs quite handily. So can LR for that matter, but getting LR to NOT do things like noise reduction, etc... is a bit trickier.

    @heartyfisher you got me, LOL. I might still shoot the way I always do bring everything into Lightroom, sync a few minor adjustments and export the selections. Should actually be pretty easy.

    To my eyes, the new Sigma 85mm Art produces the 3D effect really, really well (based on a few sample photos (DPReview, Roberts)).
    And with 14 lens elements, it's not a low-element lens by any standard, eh?

    I agree completely about the almost magic Nikon 50mm E, but at least we know it's possible to get the effect also with many elements. Well, we already knew, I guess.
