Turn off Auto WB, and lock in the WB you want!

I already knew this, but last night I thought I'd take some photos of the moon with the 200-500 Nikkor. Our area has been inundated with smoke from the BC wildfires, and it makes the moon look orange, and the Sun some odd color that I'd describe as a mixture of Orange,Red and Purple. Maybe call it chartreuse Pinkle.

Anyways, I was having trouble capturing that Orange glow consistently, and kept wondering if my shutter was acting up. A couple minutes after coming indoors the light came on. WB! Doh!
