Nikon D810 body worse than the D800? Less magnesium.

Sorry for my bad English.

The two bodies are relatively different:

Nikon D810 mirror box are in plastic where the lens mount are connected



and this is the D800 mirror box



here's what happened to D810:



and my friend D810



Everyone says the D810 body is the same as before (D800) without showing any pictures of the new magnesium body (unlike in all the pictures of D800 magnesium).
I think it's different enough certainly worse at a higher price.
Well done Nikon!

First post. A complaint about Nikon

The D800 construction does not use magnesium; it uses magnesium alloy
There many different types of magnesium alloy

The same goes for "plastic"

There is no evidence, that appropriate plastic, is any "worse" than an appropriate magnesium alloy

IF Nikon has used more plastic in the mirror, frankly I do not care as the shutter and mirror mechanism is vastly improved with being much, much quieter! I am hoping they roll those changes into more newer cameras.
