Nikon's 'recommended' lenses for D800E

It seems like the best lenses for the D800E are the ones with glass in them. Or I guess you could take a body cap, punch a pinhole in it, and still get pretty decent pictures. Or if you aren't so handy:

I thought the whole point of the list for Nikon to give us the heads-up re: the new AF-S 50mm/1.2G they are announcing soon????
