Could Nikon make a Metabones-like product to adapt their F-mount lenses for the 1 series camera? I don't see why not, it's a pretty small sensor to begin with anyway.

Your thoughts?

A Metabones adaptor shortens the focal length by a factor of 0.71 and increases the f/stop by 1.0 all via a lens in the adaptor. The FT-1 has no optics as far as I know and has no effect on a DLSR lens other than a physical and electrical connection.
