Hello I am trying to setup my D5200 for self timer (2 Seconds) and not have it revert back to single release. Whenever I am taking a number of self timerr shots I must hit the button for timer, then scroll over to the release mode of 2sec., enter. After the one shot is taken with the self timer, it reverts back to single shot and I want to continue to take pictures in the self timer mode.

I have looked through the menus and can't seem to find out this is done. Thanks for your help

You can't change this behavior. Welcome to the world of consumer cameras :-) There are two quicker ways 1) In the info screen you can change the release mode very quickly 2) The "fn" button (right below the flash button) default behavior is to toggle the self timer on and off. If you hold this button down and rotate the command wheel you can choose any of the release modes quickly. Once you get used to it I think it's better than a dedicated switch/dial.
