Great recommendation to get a macro focusing rail with a geared movement. I have done well with macro photography but when I bought the RSS macro focusing rail it got so easy to make adjustments those small adjustments. It's well worth the money.

I believe we already have a RRS thread, this thread is for Gitzo tripods.
If I take a good photo it's not my camera's fault.

A note…if one can get to a group such as a local photo club a lot of folks have nice tripods and one can examine them first hand.
