For someone in the position of sparynpray here is an idea. Keep your old body. Get a Nikon reconditioned D600 at a good price with warranty. Learn to clean the sensor. Shoot with the D600 as much as possible being sure to check your sensor often. Clean it yourself as much as you can. If dust spots show up excessively take it to a Nikon service center and ask them to not return it until it is fixed with the same shutter as in the D610. Sure there may be some hassle having that D600 in the repair shop or having to clean the sensor yourself more frequently but since you have kept your old body you can shoot with it when the D600 is in for repair. You would be shooting with the D7000 all the time anyway if you had not bought the D600.
PitchBlack. If you don't want this fine camera body, sell it on eBay or Craig's List for a huge profit. Or, use it and risk falling in love with this fine tool. :-j

That is around £500 in comparison to the £739 after cashback that they are on sale in the UK for. If it was not for the warranty issues of buying in the USA, I WOULD have bought one and had it sent to my brother in L.A.

I think the 120 click D600 has gone now, maybe next time.
