    Sending in is probably the best option. But now I live in Calgary ,Canada , so there is no local Nikon service center . It's gonna be a costly affair sending and getting it repaired. Right now the camera itself is working .

    Shipping to the Nikon service depot in Vancouver (Richmond) wouldn't be too bad ($35-40 insured via Canada Post Express Post, or cheaper regular mail). Then again, if you can live without a working button, by all means.

    guaravd, you can use the right directional button instead of OK for a lot of things in the menus. I played around for a while and you can't do some things (raw processing requires an OK press). Too bad about the button.
    CC is welcome. DC is also welcome when I deserve it.
