    @Photobug -- Not to get technical, but Indigo, violet, and purple are all different.

    I'm pulling from my art school days so this info may be a bit rusty, but indigo is actually considered a dark blue. This is why you will often see denim (Jeans) dyed indigo.

    Although violet and purple are often grouped together, they lean to different sides of the color wheel. As I'm sure you know, the combination of red and blue creates violet and purple; hence, the reason they are often confused as being one in the same. However, violet leans towards the blue spectrum and purple leans towards the red.

    Just one of my many Clark Griswold moments. ;)
