I am on the road and don't have my sequence list of colors. I scrolled back and messed up with the next color. Dissent, go ahead and post violet or indigo.

Kind of depends which light hits this car. Purple next unless we use this to cover violet and purple. I need a color swatch, getting lost with these colors.

Many of us have fallen into a trap with indigo and violet and purple. Hope this helps:
Violet is a "real" color that exists on the electromagnetic spectrum. It has a wavelength between 380nm and 450nm, sitting between blue and ultraviolet. When you split sunlight using a prism you will be able to see violet on one end. It is possible to describe violet in objective terms purely from a physical standpoint.
Purple on the other hand is a perceived color that is a mixture of red and blue. This effect is caused entirely by the human eyes and brain working together. The color purple doesn't really "exist" in that there is no wavelength of light we produce called purple. An interesting side effect of modern TVs and computer monitors that used RGB displays is that they cannot produce true violet, only purple.
Indigo is a color that is traditionally regarded as a color in the visible spectrum, as well as one of the seven colors of the rainbow: the color between blue and violet. Although traditionally considered one of seven major spectral colors, sources differ as to its actual position in the electromagnetic spec-trum. Indigo is a deep and bright color close to the color wheel blue (a primary color in the RGB color space), as well as to some variants of ultramarine.
I'll upload a color block of each for everyone.

Or just quote my post halfway up the page BTW, the hex values and RGB are the "web safe" 8-bit color variants. In other words, these are the "official" rainbow colors for the world-wide-web.
No problem, Photobug, I try not to repost any photos, but since I have so few violet/purple colors I repost that photo just to facilitate things... like some fiber to move your bowels around.
But for this thread .. you get 3 for the price of one !! Choose any one of purple, violet or indigo, (or all 3!) in between "Blue" and "White" ! Its all in the original post

As I discovered last year, I just don't have a library of indigo, violet and purple. Hate to repost but NSXTypeR is right. Love the bowels comments. Yellow with red
