Hi, I have a d7000 but use 2.8 f mounts on it. I am after a good sturdy (ideally nikon) case to keep the assembled combo safe while out and about, to save taking my backpack out with all my other lenses.
If you compare the two, there is no comparison. Nikon: Too small, no pockets, no extra straps to stop it swinging around, and no waterproof cover. Lowepro: has all of the above. :O
