Hey guys.
I`m buying new camera. Since I`m still a begginer, I`m not sure what is really important and what is not. After some research I did, I`m deciding between nikon d5100 and nikon d3300. When I went to my local shop, the seller sugested me d5100. But now that cheacked some forums on internet, I saw that in almost every comparison, d3300 was choosen as better camera. Now I don`t know which one to buy, so if anyone has any experience or suggestion which one I should buy, it would be very helpful.
Thank you for your help.

As you are new, best go for the D3300. It is a superb camera and will give you great results. The D5100 has more 'adjustability' which you aren't - and maybe never will be - ready for (and even may not want to get into).

    HTH.
    Always learning.

no argument get the D3300 ..better camera ..holds value better ...
Better still get a D7100 or wait for a D9300

Get the D3300. The D5100 is old stock and the dealer may be just trying to use you to offload some old stock. Don't let him. Get the newer and better D3300.

Don't second guess that decision. The D3300 IS the way to go....period!

I use a D3200 a LOT. And I own higher end DSLRs. Get the D3300. For the price it is the BEST!
