Dear Friends, I'm flying to Germany next week for two weeks. It will be my first international flight, post 09-11-2001, and my first trip using digital camera equipment. Do I have to take any precautions (lead lined bags) to protect my CF Cards from being Zapped by TSA equipment? Thanks. Russ
I switched to digital in 2001 because after 9/11 I could not force airport security to hand inspect my film, and flash memory is much more resistant to x-rays than film.
It has never been a problem and I fly 50 times per year.
