Hi, I came across this article / announcement and thought it might be of interest to (some of the people in) this community.

The article is primarily focused on the video aspect of consumer- / enthusiast- grade DSLRs, and for those dabbling in video it might be interesting to read the followup to this article when the answers from the brand-name companies in question have been sourced.

I wish his questions had been written better. There are suppositions that are awful and questions that neither company will nor should answer.

There could have been better meat on the bones.
