Finally…Upgrading from DX to FX

I am finally getting rid of my DX stuff, and can afford another FX body. I have settled on the D810, to complement my array of lenses and my trusty D800. Actually got rid of all DX lenses as well as my D7000. Only one I am keeping is my 70-300mm from Tamron... Stay tuned for the next episode of "gear-time" starring me and my new best friend:)

Congrats on adding the D810 to your tool kit. Curiosity...did you sell on eBay or trade in to the camera dealer?

I sold the lenses individually and locally. I traded in the D7000 (w. battery grip) at the dealer where I ordered the D810...

The AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED is an FX lens.

I know, but it "belonged" to my DX kit. I'll keep it, it's pretty light, decent enough, and i have the TC for it...

BTW - it is the Tamron I have.
