When the AF-L is on, you press the AF-L button to focus and then press the shutter button, it takes the picture as it should. When trying to focus the next image, AF-L button won't re-focus unless the shutter button gets pressed halfway. The AF-L button should cause the camera to focus without having to press the shutter button halfway before using the AF-L button re-focus.
I spent nearly 90 minutes on the phone with Nikon support to figure out a solution but none was found. The Tech then spoke with the supervisor who advised sending it in to Nikon service.
My question is: has anyone else had this issue? How can we fix it without sending the camera off?
