Hi forum,

I was very impress after reading the resurrection of Nikon 17-35F2.8 fell in salt water by NRC a while ago. Recently I got accident with my camera bag. The result was I have to sent several lenses to NRC for repair. One of them was Nikon 105F2.8G micro that completely dead after being flood. I'm still not get the lens back yet but the repair process looks interesting. You may need Chrome to translate the page though, enjoy.

The interesting about NRC are they start inspecting and repairing process on the day that my lenses arrived. They email me several times a day to update the repair process with pictures. They actually reply every email from me in less than 15'.
At the moment, I having couple lenses warranty by Nikon US which is the big different type of slow service.
