Nice location with lots to see and photograph. Here is a couple of starter items.

The coast line should be on the list to photograph, both late in the day and early in the morning.

Of course, there is a certain bridge (Golden Gate Bridge) that is a beautiful subject to photograph. My mother's
Dad worked for United States Steel company that designed and made the steel for that bridge. He was the lead designer for that bridge and got to make several trips during construction. It's sad but the family has no pictures during the construction of the bridge. There were some pictures of major steel pieces made at the USS company in Ambridge, PA. There is your history lesson for today.

Ali, do we know when the other site will be announced? I have marked my calendar but not sure if I can attend at the SF outing. I look forward to seeing the itinerary has it develops.

PitchBlack seems to know models from South Beach Florida. He could maybe hook one of those up or at least provide some phone numbers if people wanted to go to South Florida. We could try, and I am sure we would fail, to recreate some of the great photos he has posted on NR. There would also be the everglades to shoot.

Thank you @Golf007sd. Great to know the dates and a very exciting location! I last visited San Francisco in the late 90s. So many spectacular spots for us to capture around there. I had such a good time with everyone last year. I'm actually heading to LA area in late May to see family. Here's hoping I can make it to California twice in 2015! :)

SF is a lovely city. I'm sure not much has changed since 2008, so I'll have to pass. Those who go will surely have a great time.
If I take a good photo it's not my camera's fault.

Some things are moving forward for me....so, I may be there as well. if all goes well. Will possibly have an Airstream trailer under tow....

I live in the SF Bay Area, so if anyone wants suggestions on places to stay, eat, shoot, LMK. Either PM or post here. It would be good to have a paid professional model to work into the schedule of events. I think they would need hazard pay to get in the 50° water though...

One possible thought along the Getogether idea is The Black Hills of South Dakota. I may be out that way and if anyone wanted to join up, we could shoot the Badlands, Rushmore, Sturgis, and many other venues in the area.

More will be revealed on my travel plans in the next week or so.

I really like that idea of the Badlands, Black Hills, Mt Rushmore. Sylvan Lake is beautiful and lots of wildlife in Custer State Park.

I will be doing more traveling around the USA, and if anyone wants my schedule, i will be possibly be shooting the Cumbres & Toltec once again, the Xfniity Series NASCAR race at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI, the VSCDA same venue, and some of Illinois Route 66. Finally, The World of Outlaws in Charlotte, NC...great venue to get up close with the drivers.

If any of the NRF folks want to get together, for a day of shooting, or whatever, let me know by PM and we can possibly work out a Mini get together.

My schedule unfortunately does not allow me to be in San Francisco,
