In all my travels, I have never been as remotely impressed with a building as much as I have by the Pantheon. Its majesty, age (1,900 years old), well preserved condition, influential architectural style and participant and witness to two millennia of history all leave me speechless as I stand under its oculus - which I have had the fortune to do several times over my life.
The next week will be devoted to this building.
It's been a long time but hopefully I won't fall off the wagon again.
