Only limited Nikon Lens Profiles for JPEG in LR 5.7.1

Hey Forum,

I never really used the lens correction feature in LR, but I just needed to on a bunch of JPEG images and realized that there is only a very limited range of profiles available for JPEG:

Nikkor 6-24
Nikkor Fisheye 10.5/2.8
Nikkor Fisheye 16/2.8
Nikkor 50/1.8D
Nikkor 18-200/3.5-5.6 IF-ED
Nikkor 14-24/2.8
Nikkor 24-70/2.8G
Nikkor 70-200/2.8G

Does anyone know how I can get the other profiles which are available for RAW images to work on JPEG as well? I don't understand why the range is skimmed down like this.

@ironheart, I've followed the instructions now, and it works like a charm! Thanks for digging out that link!

For anyone wanting to do this on a Mac, the path for the solution mentioned in this post is:

[HD name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0/Nikon

and

[HD name]/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0/Nikon

respectively.
