Msmoto: thanks for all your work in putting this together. I posted a sampling of images I took while there because I wanted people to see the variety of things which can be done at a NRF meeting in an effort to encourage more attendance. It was very enjoyable to meet others from NRF and shoot with them but I could only partially attend events because I also had to tour my wife around to see and do the things she wanted to see and do. I will put a few imaged on PAD over the next few days to also encourage more attendance.
FreezeAction: did you come to any conclusions about D500 high ISO compared to D7200 high ISO? I have heard anywhere from 1/3rd a stop, which would not be significant, to over 1 stop, which would be significant.
I will see what I can do. I kept them. Before I could play with them a tragic accident took the life of someone I photographed a week before and was to do it again when she was to be a brides maid of honor. I will include the file I used to make a 20x30 tack sharp print from a dark arena with the ISO @ 16000. I will not be back here To delve into this for a few days. Sorry for the delay. I had a really nice time meeting the guys and gals who came and getting some needed rest.
I'm not sure as to how to put them in a private area just for NR members. I have put them in a dropbox folder and can share to someone who can use such and let them take this over. All photos are in dropbox. No culling.
I have worked a couple of the images up but first do we need a new thread for this or should it just be left here. Later today I'll have hard copy prints. 1 12x16 from inside and one 8x10 at ISO 25,600. I will post in PAD the standard low res but make the full size available.
We had a great time in Florida, but now is when we look to next year. So, if one of the moderators gets it all together and wants to offer up the ideas for 2017, I am all for it.
