Or, he specifically claims that Photos slideshows can't be used for commercial purposes:

So, guess Photos app is strictly for use by grandma and grandpa to "make pretty" pictures they take of the grandkids.

That's not true at all. I believe that Photos can also be used to take duck-face selfies.
Like most long-time Apple users (including Aperture), I'm extremely disappointed in Apple and their handling of this.
