I have heard that its rather immature to say "I told You!!" but as this is a rumour site and we have made many many predictions over the years! all totally recorded by the forum software.. why not restate your predictions and link your post ! Lets see who is the most prophetic ! (Aka . immature trumpet blower!), the best thought leader (Aka. best at jumping in front of the crowd and saying "follow me!" ;-)

LOL ! I was always hoping for a D400 but unfortunately I never predicted it :-) .. and not I dont intend this thread as a "rub your nose in it" thread. but some place to easily find / list some of our predictions that was successful :-)

I predict a D8 a D1100 a 120MP sensor, a 10-1000mm F1 pancake lens using alien technology and that Nikon and Canon will merge to become Nikcan......... but that's only a rumour..

LOL! this thread is not for rumours OR predictions ! its for predictions that were successful. State the prediction AND Provide a link to the NR posting that predicted the certain thing photographic.. nikon or non-nikon :-) It may be your prediction or someone else's :-)

I predict The New Dxxx will be a D850 with 50 MP seeing the number 5 is prominent in Nikons numbers this year Example D5, D500, SB 5000 Flashgun

For the same weight I'd rather have a Nikon 70-200/2.8VR. One of the advantages DX was supposed to have was size and weight.

All the Sigma lenses are bigger and heavier than the Nikon versions so if Nikon made a 50-100 f1.8 DX, it would likely be lighter and possibly smaller. Having said that my mates big and heavy Sigma 24-35 f2 is a really nice lens.

Size vs IQ is a trade off. I do not consider a 50mm Art vs a 50mm 1.4G a fair comparison for that reason. However, I am disappointed that Nikon does not make a great 50 even if is as big as my 85 1.4G.

I am waiting for the Sigma 24 - 70mm f/2.8 or something similar....I think a 20mm to 85mm f/2.8 would be sweet, especially if it had the characteristics of my 35mm f/1.4 Sigma ART.

Actually, I am not waiting....for any lenses, but for the full frame Nikon mirrorless.....this fall?
