NR Forum posting problems..

Hi Guys, is it just me or is anybody else just seeing a row of "B"s across the top of the text box when posting a new comment (where the buttons for things like insert a picture, bold, italics etc. were previously)?

Have tried several browsers (usually use Firefox), so it's not browser related..

Yup, I see it too. That was the controls to change the text to italics and bold and underlined and stuff.

It's not just you. I think admin is still in the process of software updates for the forum, so bugs are popping up from time to time.

Yep. The last update has added a few more bugs than were already there. Some improvements too, but those are not apparent to you. 8-|

Is there any ETA on it being fixed? If not, are there any workarounds to post pictures, edit the typeface (bold italics, etc.)?

Not that I know of Baldy. I let @Peter know about some problems I found just after the update (including this one) but so far no changes.

Vipmediastar_JZ must have had his signature disappear at the last update and come back at this one.

You could always type it out and paste it at the bottom of all of your posts Jeff, although I can't promise I won't edit your posts and delete it!

I think there should be a limit to the number of lines in a sig. It's a shame when the sig is longer than the post...

What happened to the quote function?

VipmediaStar, your signature is so long it's almost covers half a screen for me on my laptop.

I kind of agree, that signatures can get very ungainly.

There's no option to change my sig to please your eyes at the moment. I'll change it to a smiley face when the option returns to me.

I noticed the BBBBB a couple weeks ago. Happy that's working. Also noticed sporadic signature failures. Now I can't edit signature - "You don't have permission to use a signature." Sounds like these are all well documented, but I had a minute to kill :-)
