No not D510 .. Think whole new class of camera !! Let me give some outcomes.

1) Variable MP!!
2) Variable Base ISO and High ISO..
3) High ISO 10M

Tell thom Hogan ..he has had some good ideas like only bringing the mirror down every 2nd or 3rd actuation to increase FPS ...Nikon don't listen to anyone but if you get in touch ask them for variable aperture programming .....

'An awesome idea' for a large company. That reminds me of when I had one - I contacted a very large American multitool manufacturer with an idea that would revolutionise their products and give them a USP but I didn't even get past the first jerk to pick a phone up. It was all "Oh no, I can't see that catching on" and "we have to think about our customers safety"! They manufacture and sell knives! LOL!

Waste of time IME unless you can get past the eejits.

If you can even get in touch with their R&D department I will take a 6mm F/2.8G with Every new coating they have...... and maybe an updated 1200-1700 F/4 G series with all the modern coatings and a 2.0x tele-converter specifically designed for that lens to make it a 2400-3400 F/8.0....

OK, OK, some of these ideas have been heard of before.....like mirror down only every other exposure..may get 25 FPS....

But, the real breakthrough, IMO, will be a sensor which is flash sensitized so as to record an image electronically at speeds of whatever is needed, and this would allow huge FPS. No mechanics at all. EVF would appear indistinguishable from a ground glass.

That is my idea....
