D500 + 80-400mmG + TC-17 Doing some experimenting with the D500 at night. I thought I would try the TC-17 with my 80-400mm for a 900mm+ focal length. I tried autofocus but the combo back focuses so bad I had to manual focus in live view. Not sure it's as sharp as I would like but did help to fill the frame more. I think it's time to give up on my TC-17 since I've not had any luck with even primes with it.
According to Flickr user Plantaholic Sheila, this is Japanese honeysuckle. Too bad it's an invasive species and doesn't belong in NY, it smells wonderful. Also, it's a little nostalgic for me because when my aunt used to pick me up from school, we passed by these bushes. She taught me that if you picked the flower and sucked on the end of the flower, you can taste the nectar of the flower which is super sweet. It tastes like honey, but with a slight citrus tinge to it.
