I am planning on purchasing a refurbished D7100 to upgrade from my D90. I can purchase it from Nikon with a 90 day warranty, from Henry's with a 1 year Canadian warranty or should I buy a brand new grey market body?
For me the deciding factor may be where I could get the best warrantee for the $$$. Does the grey market have a better than one year warrantee or none at all? Sometimes the seller offers a warrantee.
Refurbished from Nikon factory is same as new in terms of quality. I'd make sure the Henry's one is Nikon factory refurb vs. their own "in house" refurb. If the Henry's one is factory refurb with a 1-year warranty then go for it. Where is the grey market one from? For grey, it's all about the reputation of the seller.
Go with the refurb ..check the shutter count on arrival and if its more than about 50 send it back and get another one 12 m from nikon is better than 12 m from a shop. And I buy a lot of grey

Grey market options are from 6th Ave., triState and some other retailers. They are not from B&H or Adorama.
