Accidentally deleted some photos off my Nikon J3. I've tried to use multiple photo/data recovery programs (including a couple recommended here) but none of them are recognizing my camera as a drive. What do I do? I really need these photos!
Last time something like this happened to me I tried various commercial programs, but in the end, free open source did the trick. I used PhotoRec on a Ubuntu LiveCD. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PhotoRec
If I don't mix up the event, I think I had formatted the memory card, but still got all my videofiles that I was mistakenly sure I had imported....
