Nikon Cut 2 year warranty in the UK to 1 year

Nikon Uk have stopped offering the second year warranty to Uk customers and now require proof of purchase on any warranty claims. Looks like grey imports and unofficial sources could now be a problem if you need to claim under warranty.The warraty still only applies to the original owner and is not transferable.

Trading standards require the manufacturer to give a 1 year warrantee and spare parts for 6 years so don't panic...
