NPS Program Change Incoming?

I'm a NPS member and was checking my account the other day as I wanted to see about borrowing the new 400 2.8 fl to see if I wanted to grab one etc. A pop up notified me that ALL NPS members will being notified around the end of Dec with changes to the program - anyone have any ideas what these changes will be? Fee to maintain membership? More/less borrow etc etc? Any one?

Probably different protocols in different countries In the UK we have had no notifications yet.

Sorry I should have specified, US NPS member. Yes - each country has its own NPS if it has one and they each can set their own rules etc
