    @rmp I am very pleased with mine. There is a clear difference between it and the Nikon 85D or G. I do not think the DXO review is completely accurate in that you can still get some CA's under extreme situations but it is still better than the Nikon's. I let a friend use it on a D700 and he complained that the auto focus was slow. On my 810 is focus is faster that the 85D and doesn't hunt as much either.

    Same here.
    But ... it's stupid, really (for me) to buy gear when you're not doing "that" kind of photography.
    Unfortunately, I'm just too excited about the quality of this 85mm Art ... if it inspires me to learn something new - to explore new areas - then I guess it's ok to wish for a lens of this type, isn't it?
    Well, if I don't buy anything else this year, then maybe there'll be a Black Friday deal or something ....
