Nikon service number - Melville

I sent a Nikon 1.25 tc to Melville for repair. On 9/8 its status is on hold for parts. Does anyone have any idea how long it will take (this assumes you have sent in the 1.25 tc for repair at some point) or a phone number direct to service that might help.
I have tried numbers found on the nikonusa site and have gotten back stock, generic answers. Not NPS member.
