Nikkor 70-200 2.8E RRS replacement foot and Collar plate question

Hi Guys,
Mine is a little loose so have ordered a LCF-11 replacement foot,
Also, and this is my concern,
I have ordered the replacement collar plate LCF-10P
RRS replied saying the plate would be OK?
Anybody have knowledge about the LCF-10P collar plate? Not sure if the 70-200 2.8E is the same fitment as previous
70-200 plates?

I have a Kirk replacement foot on my 70-200 2.8G VRII. Got so I could use it with the Acura style mount. I would recommend it if it works with your E lens.

If RRS says it is OK, you are good. The foot of the two lenses are slightly different lengths, but that should not matter. I have the 70-200 2.8E and when I get around to it, I will buy it.

The best thing to do is call RRS. Their service is great and you can take their advice to the bank.

2 of my 4 tripods and three of the heads are RRS. One the owner sold me when he gave me a tour of his factory. My monopod is RRS head to toe. Most of my accessories, such as macro rails, L-plates and the foot for my 400 2.8E are RRS. They have never disappointed me.

MiniD3 - WestEndFoto is correct. You won't go wrong with the RRS support or their products. I had the RRS foot on my Nikon 70-200 (2 generations back) and it worked great. I am now shooting the new Nikon 70-200E and its fantastic, also with the new foot.

I thought I had a picture of the LCF-11 foot, but here is one of their "L" brackets for the D7100. Quality shows all over the place.
