First Butterfly outing of the year and first shot with the full macro kit on the D850. A heavy lump! There is a bit of movement in this, but considering the way the wind was whipping it around, it isn't too bad. It is a small butterfly with a 1" wingspan so my lens hood was only 2-3" away from it to get this shot. The 46mp of the D850 are a challenge for awkward hand-holding.
During a break for a fashion shoot one of the models went outside for some fresh air and was having fun playing in the rain and on the railroad tracks. We had fun capturing some fun and playful shots.

Nice shot Kanuck. I will be in Santorini and Crete in early October.
An article in Photography Life got me thinking more deeply about Black and White, so here is an older photo I reprocessed. It is shot in my D800 with a 20mm 2.8Ais on a tripod in the early morning hours.
