Need some recommendations: Wearing a camera while day hiking. The strap I have sways too much. What's the best way to go? Thanks.

Are you wearing it around your neck or over your shoulder? I like the neoprene Op Tech utility strap over the shoulder. Black Rapid has some really nice straps also.

I have a BR strap that I wear over the shoulder. The camera swings around way too much. I end up having to keep a hand on it all the time.

I use the think tank camera support strap connected to the camera loops and attached to my backpack shoulder pads.

hang on (joke) what camera with what lens ?? A D850 with a 200-500 is totally different to an Olympus with lens cap lens

I use a Black Rapid type with a neoprene shoulder strap that is very comfortable. I always have to hold the camera to stop it swinging when I walk, so I too have been thinking about the peak design type holders but I use an Arca-Swiss L bracket on my camera are any compatible with that?

Usually a D610 with an all purpose lens: 28-300mm.

Well I hang my 810 with 28-300 + grip and SB400 from one lug via a No 3 fishing swivel .( one on each shoulder ) does no swing around for me
