New Z6/7 : Why only a 3,2" TFT LCD - There is space for a larger diagonal

Why is only a 3.2 "TFT LED display installed on the back, if you can already see that an approximately 22% larger display (in the diagonal) would fit.That comes with the Z8 or Z9?

I'm sure that they were standing around the watercooler asking "how can we really piss them off?". One of the other guys said: "Lets put one of those smaller screens in it!"

Fail? Not at all. When I want to upgrade my Fuji X-T1 I will be looking at a Nikon Z. I have been very happy with the Fuji. But I am missing the Nikon look to my pictures.

Back screen isn't as important with a high res EVF. Also, battery conservation is a bigger issue here than in a DSLR
