Recommendation for GPS for D500 and D850

I see there are a units "GPS-1 and GPS-1A" but neither are available and both are rather pricey (I know, that is life in the camera world). Can other recommendations for a unit to track my location while shooting?

Can’t you tether to a smartphone for this? I would try that before I spent the $$ on those add ones.

Depends if you want to set the clock or provide continuous GPS location data.If you stick one in the shoe then you have a wire down to the socket which can get caught.
I use a GENESS stuck to the window at home to set the clocks to match on my Nikons . essential for wedding work . £30
