I tried using the tamron doc on my 100-400 ..crazy results and taking for ever ...So new idea ..with the D7500/D500/D850 just set the lens to 100/200/300/4oo and use the Nikon auto fine focus to give you the figure . Input to the dock and its done ….

I re purchased a tamron dock having been so frustrated with the system I had sold it ( for the 100-400 you need 15 figures to input) I used the auto FFA on my D850 and transferred the figures to the lens . It worked fine and I now use the lens on my d7200 and D850 with great results.
