D600 firmware update

I am considering upgrade to D600, but am holding out because of no aperture control during Live View. How likely is it for this problem to be addressed in the next update, and when potentially it will happen?

As Nikon sees this as a Feature of the camera and not a 'problem' chances are they'll never fix it.
Same as they didn't firmware update it out of the D7000.

Now there are two workarounds: Either you use lenses with aperture control (AF-D or earlier.) or you get a D800.
