@gene_mcgill Yessss, that is how we see that the RAW convertors become better and better. I'am cleaning my old photo's and saw that I made a lot of rubbish, but also nice ones with my D70, D200 and D300. How many pixels do we need
Thanks and I completely agree! I also have good and bad in my old photos, but the good ones are made much better by the newer converters. As for pixel count, I would almost never use f/22 with any of my current bodies (D500, D800E, Z 7), but in the above photo it turned out pretty well. I plan to hang on to the D800E, it being the least dense of sensors I own. I do not anticipate going beyond the 45MP of the Z 7.
I got this claret cup in bloom next to the sidewalk in front of my work yesterday in Tucson, Arizona. I used a handheld reflector to block the direct sun for better color. Since the reflector was not big enough to cover all of the cactus and background with shade, I did three different shots (tripod and self timer), moving the reflector each time. Nikon D850 and Nikkor 24-70 f2.8 E.
Well, in Holland "Keukenhof" opens for 6 or 7 weeks. We and millions of other visitors can enjoy the Dutch flowers. Not this year due to our science-fiction world of the moment.
This is a photo I made there last year, it is about 20km from my house and it was a beautiful day.
Because "Keukenhof" did not open this year, they will bring Keukenhof to you! - Keukenhof Virtually Open - in video tours.
Type in Youtube "Keukenhof" and you see the links. Don't think the weather you see is normal for Holland, it's not, but enjoy the flowers and the joy they bring.
