This is my favorite shot from my recent holiday. It took almost 4 hours to get the shot. I was waiting for a moment in time where there were no people in the shot and where the foreground was in the shade of a cloud for better light. This is the best I could do. I got the cloud cover, but there are six people in the shot.

Luckily it was a four second exposure and they were walking, so they just faded out.

Very nice! Did you have to use a ND filter to get the exposure time up?

I used a 10 stop ND filter MHedges.

Apologies upfront to the purists out there but you just have to have some fun some times with your photography.........this is a nice shot (well to me) in normal mode but given the theme for this fancy dress golf event was all things 'Disney' this in camera conversion to a 'Colour Sketch' works great........it's Mary Poppins again...

...and yes, they play a full 18 holes of golf in 30+ degrees of heat so hats off from me for that...!

Telephotos are excellent for landscapes etc.

The wheels on this engine are just over 8 ft tall. The engine is huge since it was designed to pull freight cars over the mountains.

Thanks Photobug, the ladies at the club liked the shots too. More golf below, this time a trick shot specialist in full flow - the lad in blue was chipping balls at him and he was wacking them on in mid air with his driver!!
