I shoot ONLY JPEGS as did Bob Shell of Shutterburgh Magazine of Titusville, Florida. I tried RAW a lot and decided it was NOT worth the effort or jamming up computer and hard drive space. Also a lot of cameras treat RAW and JPEG quite differently and I vastly prefer JPEG. But a photographers preferred workflow after they have tried quite a few options is at least defensible and thought out. I myself prefer to crop both in the camera, zooming to what I am after, and if required zoom in a little more in Apple Photos if it seems advantageous.
