Coyote article shot with Nikon

The Desert Leaf is a monthly magazine distributed in my city of Tucson (Arizona, USA). A year ago I started following a litter of coyotes at a local wildlife spot and the magazine is publishing the story in the May 2021 issue linked below. The cover photo is mine and then you have to use the flip feature to get to the article on page 32. Most (maybe all) photos were with 500PF lens and D500 or D850 body (one shot may have been with a rented D5). Some were also with TC14iii teleconverter.

@Pistnbroke The advertisements give and insight into one segment of American life (the upper middle class). As the subtitle of The Desert Leaf states, it's the magazine for the Catalina Foothills. This is the upper class area of Tucson, mostly upscale homes (though nothing as gaudy as the mansions you might see in parts of Los Angeles). The few shopping areas feature fancy restaurants. A magazine that catered to ALL of Tucson would not have the same kind of advertisements.

I'll second that. Skimming that magazine was like spending the few disappointing minutes scanning most any airline in-flight magazine - middle-upper class life, and a microcosm of it at that.

I've been to Tucson quite a bit for work, and IMHO there's definitely a more diverse culture there than what that magazine depicts.
