Nikon 14-24 f2.8 G vs Tamron 15-30 f2.8 G2

Does anyone have real world experience using both of these lenses? If so, is the Nikon noticeably sharper? I decided on the Tamron which I bought almost two years ago, both due to price and the fact it has vibration reduction. I was recently revisiting the Nikon (which I have never tried). LensRentals founder Roger Cicala gives the Nikon a stellar review on his site (and I trust his opinion more than just about any other camera/lens reviewer).
