I went to a show yesterday & they had the Z8 & Z9 with £300 off and a free FTZII.
I got a very reasonable trade-in quote (I didn't have all of my lenses with me), so I've bought a Z9! If I get the prices they offered then it'll have cost me less than 1/3 the usual price of a new Z9.
Of course, now I have to get all new lenses - I'm keeping my 500mm f5.6pf at least until I decide what long lens I can afford
