I know. I wasn't buying any more AF-S lenses because one day I will switch to the Z system.
But I just bought a 14-24 f2.8 on fleabay.
So now I have the set. Reasons for buying (since I have a 14mm f2.8):
1) I can do focus shift
2) Sometimes 14mm is a bit too wide

So now I need to get rid of the 14mm f2.8 and recoup some money.
I also bought another SB-800 - I'm convinced 2 flash guns is better than 1 :)

If the 14mm is too wide just crop a bit . One flash( right over the lens) is better than two as with two you get shadows.

As you may know, years ago they released a special edition 100th anniversary set of the trinity of lenses. They were gunmetal gray instead of black (except the black rubber focus and zoom rings), they had the 100th anniversary logo on them, and they came in a special hard case for all three. It's pure vanity (since I have the black versions of the 24-70 and 70-200), but I have always wanted that set.
