Nikon Z 28-400mm

Anyone have any thoughts about this lens? Seems like it's a great range to have but it's quite a slow lens and large. Yes I'm aware you can bump up ISO, but it seems to be too much a compromise for me.

I used a pair of 28-300 for years f 3.5 -5.6 and had no problems

I am concerned about the f8 at 400mm. Waiting for reviews. But remember the old dictum "f8 and be there." Perhaps we put too much emphasis on fast lenses and bokeh these days?
