I was just transferring photos from my SD card to my Mac and I noticed that even though the card was seated properly, I would intermittently get access to the card. From what I can see, it might be one of my older SD cards, a Sandisk 32 gig card. That being said, I'm aware that counterfeit cards exist. How do you guys know if you have a failing card and how often is that a concern? The last time I had a card fail on me was when I had a 256mb card generated a strange file directory where one set of files was visible in the camera and another separate set of photos was visible on my computer.
